I run the similar build as the OP

Immotate
Fireball
Rodgort
Inc bonds
Meteor Shower (or wand or breath of fire or what ever else depend on my team's build. Not a big fan of exhausion)
Elem Attunement
Fire Attunement
Res

I rarely run out of energy. When they strip enhancements i put it back on and my energy doesnt drop to zero anyways....always about 15-20 when stripped. No one every complain that i didnt do enough dmg or not nuking as everything that is in my way is burned to hell. With this build (provided that they dont strip enhancement) i can cast the first 4 spells non stop with occasion of waiting 1-2 sec for recharge. I rarely get interrupted.....all casters get interrupt anyways especially eles -- oh yeah echo/rewal nuking can be interrup more cuz of long casting time of MS. Well just my 2 cents.

Just to point out, you can't run build that's not similiar. Fire is very limited.

agreed, hence as i said above, the skills used are the actual skills any nuker runs. Nowadays, what distinguishes you from others is where you drop which kinda nuke to keep nuking effective and yet controlling the crowd.

I guess what I am going to say has pretty much been said before, but I really can't resist adding to the discussion because I really get kinda irritated every time I read this thread's first post.

why i did this?
i hate beng kicked cus i was /mo in place of mesmer and seeing the mesages: "lf echo nunker nothing else"
of couse this build does not as much short time dmg as 3 showers does but 3 showers will chause shatter and will not kill all in the deep of any other high lvl arena but this build does have far better recicicle and nergy agnement(hate seeing "my energy is 9 of 86!" when an echo nunker finishes his combo)

btw this works well in allance bale cus most noobs (inclucing wariors) will not run away
killed a melee monk and an assa 8 times by that (lol)

First of all, I have to say "Sacred Nuker" is not a very good title for this build (makes you think of smiting), but "Sacred Nunker" is infinitely worse. And, as Kijik Oni Hanryuu said:

i agree with Expl0iter, if u drop the wrong nuke in the wrong place, then its useless, even if u are running a 'Sacred nuker' build

i know that no build is perfect, but the effetivness can be determined by the person using it, if they don't know how to use the build then they can't be expected to use it effectivley.

This is about as new and revolutionary as the builds everysingle elementalist used before we figured out Arcane Echo + Meteor shower makes for fun times. unfortunetly those fun times ended shortly after we realised that Echoed Showers was just about as fun as sitting in a dumpster

Congratulations on digging up a time gone by.

Edit: i just realised, you said for 10 months youve been useing this build.... I would love to see how you managed to delude your self that Fire Storm was usefull at all, ever.

Maybe you had fun useing it on those little level 3 ice elementals in presear, but I am very certain that it stopped being usefull when you fought acctual opponenets. not just giant ice cubes.

Honestly, how do you live with your self after useing such a fundamentaly poor skill for 10 months and not atleast once think twice about it?

I wish people would stop trying to find the super secret weapon of pyromantic destruction. Fire magic is the simplest skill set to use on the face of Tyria and Cantha.

Want to do an awsome job and get recognised by more people? Find away to out damage SS consistantly, reliably and easily. Or make a two element build that doesnt use Fire AoEs and Water snares.

Lots of ele's still use firestorm, and still get offended when I ask them to stop. They usually quit because they think I don't understand that an ele is supposed to do damage. But whatev, we're usually better off now that mobs stay in 1 place.

I can't help to say this guy runs very simiar build as my build
I worked out mine since they made creatures scatter when being AOEd

1. Meteor Shower
2. Rodger's
3.Incindary Bonds
4. Fireball
5. Glyph of lesser energy
6. Glyph of newreal
7. Attune Fire
8. Rez sig

The way I do it is I only reserve glyph of newal for meteor shower, which means it is recasted every 20sec. After first meteor shower then 2 > 3 > 4 and use lesser energy when ever possible. The delay in M.Shower and Incidinary followed by Rodgers and fireball will create a healthy spike on the enemy creature.

This build enables me to caste none stop for about 4~5 minutes with little gap and meteor shower every 20 secs or so but after that energy will become really low. However, the exhausting will not kick in as bad as echo Eles.

It's probably just an usual renewal builid, but then I still think its better then the first guy who said he's a genius since:

Meteor shower recharges every 60sec, so a fight which lasts 3 minutes he'll only be able 3 showers, as oppose to my build which is almost 8~9, just the only difference is that in the end of the battle he'll have lots of energy, and I'll have none.

But then if you think about it, the more damage you do in a fight, the shorter it is.
